After I blogged about extra income lines and entered a piece on Triond, Sandie made a comment which made me pay attention. Maybe we do need more offline income opportunities. I started looking around and found an interesting one.

Traders All Year Market is an indoor flea market. The concept is simple. You rent one of the available stands, and then pack out your goodies for sale. What makes this nice is that the market runs the till and admin and you simply keep your stand stocked. I don’t have to be there the whole time to watch my spot; I can get on with other things. 

To keep customers coming in, the market also hosts Art classes and does a lot of advertising. This brings in the feet to keep up the sales. In all it is a nice neat shop to visit, making shopping a pleasure while providing an opportunity for people needing an extra income to get their goods sold.

 Of course I grabbed a stand for myself, and stuffed it with soft toys. Later on I will add some crafting and other stuff. I just couldn’t resist the opportunity. If you are ever in Somerset West, you can visit my stand at Traders All Year Market across from Lions Square on Myburg Street.
