Internet is a great resource of knowledge and not only professional writers but also even beginners are able to express themselves and provide others with some valuable information. Good part of all this knowledge sharing is that you may get paid to share your knowledge through your website or blogs. Past few years blogging has increased on Internet and lot of people out there have been able to generate steady income from their writing skills. Let it be Triond, Bukisa, Hubpages, Associated Content etc. on most of this blogging networks people are generating money.

If you are a professional writer you may end up writing your own masterpiece that can be viewed by millions of people on Internet by promoting your blog through social book marking sites. But above if the question is about generating revenue from your writing then you have two choices: quality or quantity.

Quality articles may fetch large number of users and get appraised for a long time to come while if you are able to write a lot and get lot of reasonable blogs and quantity too can get you home with your goals.

Let us consider an example about quantity and calculations about earnings of a blog. If you are a Triond user, assume that you get paid 0.002$ for every visitor of your blog. Now let us get down to calculations of a month.

If you can write 10 articles everyday you will end up with 300 articles a month. If all your articles can get decent number of visitors like 500 visitors for every article you write, you will end up with 150000 visitors every month. So, your earning will come to 150000 * 0.002 i.e. 300$ per month.

Do not stop here, as this is one month’s calculation. Now, next month when you are going to write 300 articles you still have former 300 articles under your hood. But old articles may not generate the same number of visitors but will still get you some bucks. So, if your old articles are going to generate average 100 clicks per month then you earnings for your last month’s articles will be 300 * 100 i.e. 60$ for 30,000 visitors at the rate of 0.002$ per click. So now you earning has increased to 360$. Next month you will again end up with 300 articles while you already have 600 old articles that will generate 120$ for 100 visitors each at the rate of 0.002$ per click. So now you monthly income has increased to 300$ from this month’s articles and 120$ from old articles coming down to 420$.

So, here in this case unlike only quality writers’ even beginners can generate good income every month by increasing their quantity of article.

While my calculations may seem insane to people who will be earning 0.5$ per month or who are earning 2000$ every month these calculations are not at all unrealistic.

Only question that may bother one’s mind is about professional writers who are developing quality articles less in numbers. They add to the quality of Internet blogging and sometimes end up with crappy earnings just because they do not have quantity.
