With Triond site referral widget you can see where your people come from but do you really understand what is written there?
If you have been on Triond for a while you can see that most of the traffic comes from Traffic Outbrain. What is this Traffic Outbrain thing? It’s simply the related articles you can read at the end of every Triond article. When people are reading an article somewhere on Triond and they see your article in the related articles, you get a traffic outbrain visitor. For me this is the referral number one with as much traffic as all other places combined.
Stumble upon is my second best referral traffic website. It’s so easy to milk traffic from Stumble Upon, all you need is to click on the button and leave the rest to Stumble Upon. This kind of traffic will send you visitors FOREVER unlike others that work just for an hour, day or week.
Triond.com is my third referral website. I am not 100% sure where this traffic comes from, but I believe it’s traffic from the Explore section and traffic from my Profile.
Google and Bing are the next ones. This is traffic that comes when someone searches and your articles hows up and they click on it.
My own blogs are the next thing in the list. If you do not have your own blog and you want to get more traffic this is a great place to milk some more people!
And finally Yahoo sends all other visitors.

My personal blog was sending me more traffic then any place else. I would put up ten posts a day. Then I decided to put all that effort into Triond. Now I get most of my traffic from Triond. It’s nice to know these things. It gives you a sense of control.

Thanks, I’ve often wondered what traffic outbrain was. Your order of stats for the first three are identical to mine. Reddit is my 4th, followed by Facebook. My next 2 are my personal blogs and next come the search engines, Bing and Yahoo. My last one listed is Twitter. I don\’t see Google

Useful. Thanks. Only 5% of my readers come from Triond and the same from Outbrain. The majority come through Goolge, Bing and Stumble upon and my own blog.

Is “outbrain” Triond traffic? wow.. that means my #2 sometimes #3 traffic source is Triond readers. My #1 is SU of course, and not a big surprise really due to it’s popularity, whenever my work is featured on Webphermera I get a few hundred views within a day or so often placing this blog at around #4 or #5 for awhile.
I get a lot of traffic from Google and Google.uk, oddly…
