Did my headline grab your attention? This free tool rates my headline at 71.43% out of 75%.

Do you think the headlines for your articles work in grabbing people’s attention and making them want to click on your articles? Do your headlines emotionally, spiritually and intellectually connect with people which will make them more likely to click on your article?

As a writer I am always asking these questions every time I think up an idea for an article. What is the best headline I can come up with for this article for the search engines and to connect with people? Headlines are important on the internet because they are the introduction to your articles and if your headlines do not look enticing why would people bother clicking your articles?

Luckily for writers there is a free internet tool available that will analyze your headlines and determine the Emotional Marketing Value or EMV for each headline you create. This tool rates your headlines based upon the words you use and how those words will likely connect to people on three different levels.

1) Intellectual – use the right words to appeal to people’s reasoning and thought processes which will make them curious and likely to click on your article.

2) Empathetic – use the right words to appeal to people’s emotions and make them react and likely click on your article.

3) Spiritual – use the right words to appeal to people’s spiritual side and you can evoke their emotions and make them more likely to click on your articles.

When you type your headline into the Headline Analyzer tool it will give you a percentage reading to determine how effective your headline is. And it will tell you which of the levels you are reaching your audience with. The English language contains 20% EMV words and the Headline Analyzer will rate your headlines anywhere from 0 to 75% EMV. A score of 30%-40% is considered acceptable for your headlines while the very best writers will have headlines that score in the 50%-75% range.

This tool is available at Advanced Marketing Institute and it’s completely free. Give it a try and see how your headlines score on the EMV.
