Referring is a big thing on the Internet nowadays, it’s every where. From pay to click sites to getting free goods.

I mostly try to find referrals for a pay to click website i use, it is pretty hard to find referrals. The most common method was to use YouTube. Yes, YouTube. People create videos about a website then put a link in the information section. But the thing is, it is used by everyone now its hard to get referrals there as well, Too many people trying to get referrals for the same site. I tried by creating a video, wasn’t all too success full just got 1 or 2 out of the 50 views i got.

So YouTube i wouldn’t recommend, but trying wont harm.

Here are some of the things i use/do to get referrals:

1. Word of mouth, yes simple as that just ask Friends or family to join.
2. Mass email!, yes its spam but spam for your own good. I have two email addresses, 1 of which got out of control, half the people on it i hardly knew and there were like 400 contacts on there (Don’t ask how i got so many) So i just sent an email with a simple link on it, no words or nothing just the link and sent it to everyone. After a couple of minutes success, i got 9 people joining the pay to click site under my referral link and the other link i attached of a get paid to search i got 78 people who joined. Now in the referring world that’s success!
3. Forums, join forums and put your banner/link on your signature. But watch out though some forums don’t allow advertising this way.
4. Advertise, I used to use a different pay to click website which is dropping its rating dramatically and taking years to pay it members, they canceled the minimum payout of $10 and minimum payout is now $50 so i thought they will never pay so ill advertise some links with the account balance. Wasn’t all too great, bought 2000 views using main balance and only 7 people joined the get payed to search website i entered.
5. Use traffic exchange websites, there are loads of them! all you do is look at websites and earn points for looking at them, then in turn use your points to put your website up, in most traffic exchange website 1 point = 1 view and you get roughly 2-3 points per view. A simple Google search should land you on a pretty good traffic exchange websites, there are so many.
