Read about my Traffic Geo Distribution Chart on Triond.
This article was long in coming since I had planned to do this long ago. After reading Brewed Coffee’s article on Triond’s Geo Distribution Chart I was inspired to finally get around to it. Here is my chart and some observations.
Top Countries In My Readership Chart

(1) United States
The United States of America accounts for 52% of my readership in the last thirty days. This is not surprising since they are #2 in the Alexa country statistics concerning Triond readership. This top spot on my pie chart is consistent with Brewed Coffee’s statistics.
(2) United Kingdom
14% of my readership in the last month has been from the United Kingdom which as you know is comprised of England, Scotland and Wales.
(3) Canada
Canada weighed in at spot #3 with 9% of my readership for the past month.
Next comes a two-way tie but for the purpose of numeration I will number them # 4 and 5:
(4) China
China accounted for 7% of the reads I got in the past thirty days. Despite China’s size they are not in the list of top ten countries on Triond according to Alexa’s country statistics on Triond so I am grateful.
(5) India
India also made up 7% of my readership in this Traffic Geo Distribution chart. The biggest portion of Triond’s traffic coming from a single country is from India, 35% in all, so maybe I should promote my article India’s Claim to Bible Fame much more.
(6) Australia
My readership from Australia has been “down under” in terms of figures – 6% at the moment but I greatly appreciate the support.
(7) Uganda
5% of my readership in the last thirty days came from from Uganda which is a fairly recent addition to my pie chart.
There are other countries that have appeared on my Traffic Geo Distribution chart from time to time – the Philippines which has been on the chart constantly, Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean where I am from, Malta in the Mediterranean, Holland and Croatia. I believe that this pie chart does not show those countries that have contributed only slightly. Why do I say that? My Traffic Geo Distribution chart always has only seven countriesat a time and that fact is consistent with Brewed Coffee’s chart at present. Also, the country of one of my top commenters is not on the Traffic Geo Distribution chart.
So thanks to the readers from those seven countries as well as those not featured on the chart. It is always a blessing to know that your work is being read by people of different nationalities, languages, races and creeds.

Hey.. Did you try co relating it to your top referral sites chart??
April 19th, 2011 at 11:14 am
Any ideas on how to do that? I’m not sure that the Referral Sites Chart is detailed enough for me to co-relate that to The Traffic Geo Chart. In the recent past most of my traffic has come from Google with Triond coming close behind but since last week, due to the Google algorithm change, my Triond views have overtaken my Google views. The Referral sites chart does not indicate which countries have read my writings from Relijournal or Webupon etc. I guess the most that could be said is that my search engine traffic is consistent with the Traffic Geo Distribution Chart if we take google.com to be the US, google.co.uk to be the UK and google.ca to be Canada. It would also indicate that I have traffic from Trinidad and Tobago (where I am from) because I see google.tt there but my reads there in the last thirty days were small so it does not appear on the Geo Chart.
On another note, on my Geo Chart the Philippines has just replaced Uganda with the same 5%.

My current stats are:
US 52%, UK 14%, Canada 8%, China 8%, India 8%, Philippines 6%, Australia 5%. That gives 111% though not 100%.
