Some of you all probably have heard of the “Pinging” method but if you have not, let me introduce it to you.

What is pinging?

Well, Pinging is what does the hard work for your blog/website. Pings notify all the major blog directories in one so that everyone knows about your latest posts. It saves you the time of having to do each one manually. This is a great way to improve the popularity of your blog and make sure the search engines crawl and index your site properly.

How does my blog receive more traffic?

Your blog receives more traffic because you are submitting your blog URL and Feeder link to the world wide web for various viewers to view. If interested, they click the link to your blog for further information and if you have an interesting one, they are now one of your viewers!

My blog is about miscellaneous topics, can I still ping it for more traffic?

Absolutely! If you are just talking about celebrities, gossip, and sports (etc) on your blog, you can still use the pinging services for more traffic. I use the pinging services to promote my blog “Grinds My Gears“. I went from having 28 people view my blog daily to 302 people view my blog within one day! The next site that I want to introduce you all to in EntreCard.

How it works

Well, you have to place the EntreCard widget onto your blog or website. Once you have done that, EntreCard will visit your site to make sure that the widget is on your site. When your account it approved, people’s link to their website will start to appear onto your site and in return, you receive 1 credit to host your blog, website on someone else’s site. You have the option to choose which site you would like your ad to be hosted on (The site that you wish to host your blog on must be within the EntreCard network)

I use this service also and I get numerous people who visit my blog. The key is to make sure that you host on a blog that looks appealing! That is the key. The website is provided below.

Last but not least is BlogUpp

BlogUpp is another great service to use also. All you have to go is insert your website into BlogUpp’s coder and they will provide you with a code to put onto your site. Once the code is provided, ads will appear on your BlogUpp of other people’s websites and blogs and your site will appear in their BlogUpp’s widget also. What makes BlogUpp so great to use is there is no sign-up process in order to use their service!
