Pen Names, Branding, Socializing, How Does It All Work?

This Might be the Blind Leading the Blind for Awhile But, Hopefully not for Long

 Hi my Name is Donald Beres Jr. Some of you here at Triond.com know me as Sinbad the Sailor Man. As well as several other sites do here on the World Wide Web. Several years ago way back in  2001 I like many of us today had a run of bad luck. That bad luck is told in bits in pieces here on the Inter-Net at about a dozen different websites as of today.

So to make a very long story longer, no I am kidding shorter. I was divorced lost several dear family members, my mind, my health, and spirit. But, not for long, I kept getting up and slapped down for the last decade here and there. When one night I came full circle and was found once again by my Lord and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. I should tell it as it truly is for He never lost me, But I in fact did lose Him exactly when I do not recall. Some where along the way though, that’s for sure.

Well the day I did come full circle I will always remember now that is something remarkable for I thought the day I got baptized was that day, but I can’t recall that date off the top of my head any longer, as now I can this date July 3rd 2010 This is the day I joined you all here at Triond.com and started posting my Poetry. That I have been writing since my Divorce.

I had been disabled by a third back injury and surgery in Dec. 1997 That stress lead to my Divorce and then the lost of my Mother, several other dear family members, and my best friend who committed suicide when his wife left him. I know get to the point. well the point. “A divorced Father of three” with only a small settlement from a Big Name Fast Food Joint who some how lost most of it to a ex-wife and several lawyers. Doesn’t have much to live on or provide with. That is my point I needed a way to earn an income.

 I knew this way back in 2001, but this and that lead to this and that and I got no where fast with anything I tried and wanted to try. I tried several ways to earn on the Inter-Net. I built My own web store, bought a couple of pre-made sure things websites, and failed. I even tried selling things out of home and at the local bars. Mean while I got into playing Pool again and joined a dart league and then several pool leagues.I bar tended a little, sold use cars, for a minute. Did some project manging and light construction work for a company. Partnered with two others a small restaurant.  Lost my Home moved across country, learn to drive a semi-tractor and trailer, over the road. Lost some of my eye sight, drove taxi about five months lost some of my good health, sold some use cars, gave up, and was found wanting. And here I am today writing for Pay per Click Publishers and doing Google’s Adsense, Click Bank, and some Blogging, and some affiliations.

So why am I telling you all this? I wanted you to know if I can make money doing it, you very well can too. Is it a lot of money? No not yet, and it may never be. Why do it then? The reason is two fold I guess it keeps me actively using what is left of my mind, for one and it does put a little change into my pay pal account right now. And I believe it will keep putting more and more change in it as I grow and create more articles, writes, and short stories. We all know every penny counts in today’s economy. I live on 915.00 a month as of right now and everyone and their lawyers are trying to take that from me too.  I just found out last week my License was suspended for child-support and I know that Social Security pays that for a fact.!

Well Back to Making Money Using Pay Per Click Publishers

What is a Pay Per Click Publisher? Basically it is a middle man for advertisers or a platform for ads to sit whether it is Google’s Adsense or some other company’s or the Publishing site itself hosting these ads. These Sites usually offer a 50/50 split with the potential to earn more from those you get to join in the venture. They except all types of media still shots, videos, audio, and text  and/ or a mixture of them. They house them care for them and account for their earnings and then pay you royalties as long as there and are posted and maintained by you through them.

Its a kind of set it and forget it business model. I have been only doing this steadily since July 3rd of 2010 But since then I have put together a website that is up and earning with Google’s Adsense and ClickBank E-book Links, an Amazon Affiliation, with Widgets posted through out,  and I offer ads through an Advertising Site where I can personally rent Ad Space on my websites pages. My Website is under constant constructing because of all the addings and up-dates that is being done to it, with my writes and their links to the sites. With Hints and Tips that I have learned Found and stolen from Others and their Blogs and sites. The Sites has three Blogs link out from it and it has a informative Blog in it as well. http://www.sinbadthesailorman.net  and finally http://www.sinbadthesailorman.org The site will eventually have much more information as I get the time to place it into the newly created pages yet to come.

There are many more Sites linked to and through It. It contains a Facebook Badge with a Fan page to Poetry Writes & Other Stuff from Sinbad the Sailorman Links to my two WordPress Blogs, a link to My Blogger Blog, a Site Security Badge, a Webutation Rating Badge, a link to Alexa so you may leave a review, and see the sites Traffic  stats, and It’s Ranking in the USA.  When I last checked it was in the Low Seven Millions as of the 5th of Jan 2011, but back in July it was Ranked in the Twenty Millions a significant drop I think for six months work. It is also link or has links on it to follow my twittering. Somebody Come and Play!
