Google did it again. Dropped everyone’s Page Rank. Why? Only Google knows for sure.
Am I worried about it? I don’t think so… At least not yet, anyway My reasoning is pretty simplistic. I didn’t have a Page Rank before and now it is sitting at 3.
Spent numerous hours reading, searching and attempting to absorb everything. My poor befuddled pea brain has reached a decision. Whether it is a good one or not I will let you judge and decide for yourself.
It is not the Page Rank that is important but what your blog/web page contains. We should be spending time with our blogs. Tweaking, altering, editing, adding and giving it great contain content.
Every time we alter our blog we need to focus on pinging, submitting and getting our page out there to the millions of readers.
We all know that Content is King but what else can we do to improve traffic. Original is best but there are several places to find articles that can be used
One needs to sit and figure out why they are blogging in the first place.
- Why do you blog, really?
- What are the main goals you have?
- What is the purpose of your blog?
There are so many things we can do to improve readability, the list is endless and I could go on forever about all the different things that could be done. It is neither confusing nor difficult to improve our blogs/web pages. Perhaps in the next writing I will go into detail about how to improve our blogs in a step by step process. Yes we know there are tons of blogs out there that do the same thing but who is to say that one more won’t hurt.
The BS about Google and Page Rank and how vital it is to get to #1 is hogwash. My
feelings only. It we give a concentrated effort to our blogs our ranking will increase. It has to right? ‘Course I have been wrong before and it could happen again.
Ensuring our pages are in good order and easily browsed should be enough to increase readership.
I have even gone as far as to ask or request for numerous reviews on my blog to see exactly what I need to do to increase my exposure and traffic. Is it working Yes it is. Slow going and as every review points to different areas I could improve it is taking some time. I took everything they stated, made a list of the different areas I needed for improvement and try to accomplish one feat everyday.
Be patient, consistent and things will change Slowly I know but things will begin to move forward.
My next article will consist of tips, hints and steps to improve your blog, from a beginners point of view.
Till next time, take care and don’t forget to stop for while and smell the roses. Have a great day!
Again, thank you for your time.
