Are you frustrated by online marketing efforts that are just not yielding the results you want?

This article is for those of you out there looking for a good way to advertise anything from websites, affiliate pages, blogs, YouTube links, or whatever else you want to be viewed by numerous people each day.

The tips in this article are the strategies that I personally use to get thousands of visitors to my website per day. Over time they have proven themselves to be effective, and I have yet to find anything better.

1)   The first thing you should do is to think about how many visitors are already visiting your site daily. I’m sure that because you’re reading this article, you are not satisfied with your current numbers. Hopefully you have some statistics from your web server to show you how many people are visiting and where they are coming from.

The most important thing to do in this first step is to set a goal of how many views per day you would like, and work towards that goal.

If you don’t have a way to see your website statistics for free, visit Google Analytics. It works really well and is very detailed, so you can see what works and what doesn’t.

2)   You also need to consider your turn over rate. For example, you could have 3000 visitors daily coming from path A, and purchase $2,000 worth. Or you could have 2000 visitors daily coming from path B, and purchase $3,400 worth. You should obviously maintain advertisements in both paths, but focus on site B as it is where you get most sales from.

3)    Now, is there really such a thing called free internet advertising? The simple answer to that question is YES!! There are numerous ways of advertising available on the internet that doesn’t require any out of pocket expense.

A simple example is writing an article or blog, and including your website link so people will visit your website while reading the article. What you should do is submit your article to a top online publisher like Triond, Ezine Articles, or HubPages. They do all the advertising for that article for you and you cash in on their advertisements.

4)    You must also understand that it’s only free up to a certain point. It’s free because you don’t spend any money, but you do have a certain time commitment. Remember that your time becomes more valuable as you start to make more money on the internet. If it takes you an hour to make $20, and you spend an hour writing an article, you just spent $20 on article making/marketing.

So hopefully you understand the importance of spending your time as effectively as possible.

If you’re investing your money or time, you want to have the highest value of R.O.I (Return of Investment) possible.

5)    The next tip I want to leave with you is to stick to one type of advertisement initially and master it.

After you’ve mastered one way of internet marketing, branch out and try new methods. Analyse your statistics and see what methods are more useful and focus on them more. Now obviously if there’s a method that doesn’t seem to be worth the time or money, I advise you to stop.

6)    If you are thinking that spending money on internet marketing is a good way to go about getting people to your website, you are absolutely right! You really don’t have to do much work and it doesn’t consume your time. The only thing is that it does require some out of pocket expense.

Before you spend all of your advertising dollars on marketing efforts, compare the cost of your online advertisements, to the profits you make. If it will be your first time advertising online, start off with spending a small amount; then make the decision from there if you should continue to invest from the results.

7)    The next tip I have for you is to visit some P.P.C (Pay Per Click) sites. The deal is you view someone’s website or ad, and receive a credit for it. You can then in turn use those credits you received to pay other people to view your website or ads. So it’s like free website marketing.

If you view 200 ads, you can have your ad out and have it viewed 200 times by other people. Also, if you view a certain amount of ads, you become qualified to receive a cash reward.

8)    Another effective way is to e-mail your friends, families, and peers and let them know about your new website. Informing people you know about your new website is not spam, but e-mailing their friends and relatives are. This is why you want them to do it for you. Ask them kindly to pass the message on.
