Simple ideas for online success.
It’s a sad fact that over 75% of people venturing into the business of internet marketing fail. And it’s not because they lack the finance. After all, if you have a PC and a web connection, you have everyting you need. But too many people assume they will make a fortune thanks to the ’wisdom’ of the latest internet guru’.
Of course some new starters hit paydirt very quickly, but most need some help and plenty of research. A good strategy is to focus on one project, perfect it and then use what you’ve learnt to move on.
So here are just three useful starting points for your campaign.
Build Your Own Product
If you know a lot about a subject there are plenty of people who will pay you for your information. So compile an ebook on your subject. You could include a video that can easily be downloaded.
There are limitless ideas for products to create. Simply pick your subject, do an isearch and get going. Finding a niche isn’t hard and you don’t need to be afraid of the competition, just try to do it better.
You can outsource the writing to a friend or ghost writer and if you don’t have a great video face ask a friend to help you with the clip. Once your product is ready, your costs are virtually nil. You can sell hundreds of copies and it won’t cost you another penny. Your start-up costs will be covered by selling just a few copies.
What’s more, there are thousands of people in affiliate marketing that will sell for you.
Affiliate Marketing
This could be the easiest way to get started. Signing up for an affiliate program is free and you then find the right product and ways to promote it. Being an affiliate has very little risk, costs little or no money and you don’t beed to worry about customer contact.
You can even be an affiliate without a website. Just look at Click Bank or Commission Junction and you will see how this can work. Don’t be discouraged. There is a lot of competition. Just focus on making your first sale, then another. Soon you will have the hang of it.
Adsense
If you do own a website, you can participate in Google’s adsense scheme. This is an advertising program allowing you to display ads from Google advertisers on your website. When someone clicks on one of those ads, you, and Google make some money.
Google technology lets its search engine to scan over your web page, and place relevant advertising. Sign up with Adsense and you will be given code to place on your web page. The important thing is to have good content that fits your niche on your page. But how much will you make on a click? Only Google knows for sure. But it is well known that certain niches cost more to advertisers. Oh, and Google will know if you click on your own ads.
When you reach the right point with your campaign you can add all three ideas together but for now, just get started.
And good luck.

You make several good points. I’m having success with two so far: finding a niche and using my blog for marketing. My niche is flash fiction and articles about writing flash fiction. And I use my blog to send hits to the stories and the articles. http://www.writinghood.com/online-writing/my-personal-blog-sent-hundreds-of-hits-to-my-triond-content-in-june/
