I saw your link to this article in the forum, and thought that Only was being his usual negative self, but I’m sorry to tell you that your article isn’t really very informative or interesting, and your spelling and grammar are not very good. Is English a second language to you?

I’m sure that your writing will improve with practice – don’t give up!

Well…I do agree the news, television and papers may give us writers ideas, you neglected one more thing. Some writers like me(and maybe others)shy away from all that and use pure imagination.Pulled some of my best work out of thin air with what I already know about, though i will do research.Writers write from the heart,we don’t always need the media to help us.You will improve your grammar,punctuation,,etc..and writing style as you go,but this does include errors spell check could have possibly caught. And it always isn’t about what others write about or even prefer for that matter. As writers,we all have our own style and way of doing things. We have to stick what works for us and be true to what we believe.Being read and recognized is fantastic I will not deny. But if we had to give up our unique creativity to get read and be labeled “mainstream”-it wouldn’t be worth being called a writer at all in any fashion.this is just my thought and has made mistakes to…..just reacting to your statement:”know what the others write and which style the others prefer in your article.”
