Most of us,often just submit the comments by clicking on Submit Comment Button that accounts for ONE click. But we can easily make a difference by clicking on I like it button too, which earns not only an extra click, but also a story untold.
Should it surprise us that this extra click on i like it button along with Submit Comment button on a web page makes 2 clicks and we’re aware that the king (Google) pays for PPC (Payment per click).
But why this extra benefit is ignored all the time?
Facebook created a history with launch of its Like button. Its there every where, including this page which you’re reading right now.![]()
It’s a most important Social Plug in using which we all share our work with the world. And most of us are doing that here on Triond too. But when it is equally important for us to benefit from this button to our advantage, we tend to treat it differently.
But why is this button so important?
In the writing world, Content is King, but Marketing is Queen.
We all write content in the form of articles and submit the articles to Triond, which publishes it on various sister concerns, but it cannot market for us where we’re lacking.
Building Status to our content is what all of us are lacking and that deprives the traffic.
The functionality of this button is just not about hitting the key to increase the number of likes on a particular page to make it look more wanted.
.
Its one of the best, tried marketing tool which most of the organizations use to promote their product.
Take like this-If you want to buy a camera, you will definitely buy the one that has received many good reviews or in web terms, which has received many likes.
So, it’s the same with our web content…the more the likes, the more is the reader.
Google serves the Search engine through ranks, a particular page has earned, and more the likes, higher is the rank and the most preferable by the search engines too.
If web content or a product has earned many likes, it simply means that the Content has some Quality; hence it has received some super quantity of this like Clicks.
Also it helps in earning some much-needed Status. So click it each time you visit a page and when you’re motivated to comment something that you like, and then why not say it through a click, which is meant for that purpose.
know this-I like it button actually is a promotion button. So, do remember to click on it by default, it helps improve the website’s status and eventually strengthens the rank and carries your work some dignity and traffic is only a by-product of this exercise.
And a web page receives prominence through the increased number of likes and comments received, which also means it can make its way to reach the popular topics or hot topics list. Do i make sense to you now?
And again benefit of 2 clicks. Does it sound interesting?
And if one extra clicks can make a difference. Then why not?
I like it, do u like it? Then we all will soon like it.
Now do proceed to submit your comments, but before that remember to click on “i like it” button too.
Oh! I owe you a large thank you then, as this extra click of yours has earned some status, quality, and prominence to my content. Thank You! and i assure you to treat your content with the same dignity it deserves.
And Good Reading again!

very good insight into the matter… Thanks for the share…
thank you my friend just what I NEEDED TO know! Excellent topic
I like this article very much
I give a like to most of the articles I read. Even the ones I just view without commenting on. And also sometimes give an fb like plus share it on fb.
I often wonder why some of my articles get very few likes even when many ppl comment on them.
Dora, thank u for this article.
nice…..
I hit the “I like it” button on my way to this text field and I have to admit, I knew a bit about this, but you made it clearer. Thanks!
I also hit the like button before commenting… Thanks, for the share!
din’t know that..thanx for educating…btw I have ‘liked’ your article
Wow, you are very good observer Dora, Thanks for sharing. I like it
Good share. I always hit the I liked it button a stuff that I like.
Thank you everyone!
there are 9 comments, 7 i like it button clicks and 2 facebook like button clicks…which makes 9.
Good improvement in giving Likes….my post served the purpose….but follow it up with everyone…if u dont have a facebook account, just click on the brown i like it button…its much easier.
Thanks! i like it too!
Loved reading your post on ‘likes’.
like it
Every time I read online article I make sure that I click like button. However, it surprises me that one of my articles has been viewed 800 times, commented 41 times but has only 10 likes.
Vinaya, don’t be surprised,People who usually comment always ignored to like and few would suit a short way to just like and don’t comment and many don’t do either!
very good
important information
Good info to know. I would use the like button, but I don’t actually have an FB account, just a page, so it generally doesn’t let me “like” things.
good explanation about like button. I like it!
nice article
Dear Woodlandwolf,
I’m not talking about Facebook button like, there is one more brown button which reads I LIKE,that button just takes a click without opening any other page.
Hope this helps….looks like i’ve to come with another article to clarify this…oops!
Thanks everyone!

Can I dislike?
I like your ideas Dora. Thank you very much ^_^ I usually check on the list of my friends’ writings…when I though I might going to be interested in reading it (from the tittle), usually I’m also click all of the like buttons available there while commenting. But I don’t think I can read all of my friends’ writings one by one, so that’s only applicable on the topics and tittle which might interest me in reading it.
Very nice article
another like for you coz I really enjoyed this article of yours best of all!
I in!!!! The Triond Glitch is over! Phew.
Right – this is a great article, pointing Trionders and other readers in the direction of the ‘like’ button. Having a post ‘liked’ is important to we writers.
I followed your instructions to the letter – I liked then I commented. That’s what I always do. Pity some don’t!!!!!!!!!
I also like it.
I like it.
Honey I really like it:)
well said.
I will click “i like it” for all of my comments, including this awesome one.
There are way more comments then “likes” cause people are stingy, lazy or both. I prefer “I Like It” then an inane and generic comment like “Nice share.”
I’m more generous with the I Like It button than with comments, so chances are, if you get a comment from me, I’ve clicked it at least once. Happy writing!
I never looked at it like that.
Very well stated
well written
good to know this..
