Asking a Question
Sometimes, they can work fine for you. Create a title which attracts both viewers and users. This way, there is no guarantee that they will not click your link and check your article out.
However, make sure you are answering a question that the users can answer. If you simply write down, ‘Please check my article…’ it has a good chance of being reported by a user which can therefore result in your question being removed.
Here is an example question of mine that I posted on Yahoo Answers regarding one of my articles on Triond!
‘Is Michael Jackson Alive?’
Below the title is the description where you write in more detail regarding the topic. (Remember that it doesn’t have to be 100 words! You will just bore the user/visitor off the page and they won’t see the link to your article!)
‘Do you think Michael Jackson is alive? Could it be that he faked his death? What do you think?’
This is virtually all that you need! No more information. The users will tell you everything! Do remember to post your article link at the end of your description so that users/visitors can see your article.
After doing this simple 5 minute task, you should see the traffic coming in immediately after it is displayed on the topic page which takes a minute or two. It also depends on the interest in the topic. Michael Jackson is a hot topic and I did receive over a hundred views in 15 minutes of submitting it on Yahoo Answers! So start submitting questions, answering questions and get that traffic!

Good stuff although no mention of the fact that to ask a question on Yahoo answers you need to have at least 5 points. To get points you have to answer other questions (which earns you 2 points).
So to get the best out of doing what the author here says, one has to be more active on the site to accumulate those points.

That was a good one. I joined Yahoo answers a while back and they deleted my account. Thanks for the tips.

I’m pretty sure I saw some one else on Triond suggest the same thing but wouldn’t you get reported for it and if you continued to violate it then they could remove your account? I don’t know I’m not sure but it does seem like a gamble worth taking.
