Swagbucks is a search engine. Like any search engine, it gives you results for the keywords you searched for. Unlike any other search engine, you get rewards. 

When I say rewards, I don’t mean pennies. I mean points, or Swagbucks. These swagbucks can be spent on any item in their store. The prizes go from magazine subscriptions to gift cards to comic books. If you want it, they probably have it. If they don’t, grab some PayPal money ($5) or a $5 Amazon Gift Card.

There are of course conditions and rules. I will tell you some of the tricks that work very well and will almost guarantee at least 2 Swagbucks a day.

• You can only win once an hour. If you do win once an hour, you are a very, very, very, very lucky person. There is virtually no way that you can win more than twice a day. Therefore, search once in the morning, and once in the evening. This is because you can only win from your first twenty searches.
• Be on the lookout for codes. Grab the toolbar and the widget and follow them on Twitter and become a fan on Facbook. These little things will get you the odd Swagbuck once in a while
• After you win, switch to another paid search engine, such as Scour. Then return to Swagbucks later that day.  
• Tell your friends and family. This is easier than grabbing random referrals off of the internet.
• Set Swagbucks as your homepage. It’ll help you remember to use it to search.
