Even if you have a website and nobody visits your blog, it is useless. But the question is how do you drive traffic to your website? This is easy. There are a few ways of doing that but I will just write about the main ones.
Post in Forums.
Some forums allow you to have a signature at the bottom of every post you make. Take advantage by making your link as your signature. Do note that you must have a catchy line if not people will not click on your link. Also, post in more popular posts. You can always check out the hot topics on the forum and post your discussion there.
List your site.
List your site in blog directories. Out of boredom, people would usually click on the links in the directory. You may never know if they click on yours! But if your content is interesting, they would usually read on.
Upload videos.
Drive traffic to your website using Youtube or any other video sites! Add in your website url at the start and end of the video. Make sure that your video is interesting enough to capture the attention for many viewers!
Use Twitter
After every Twitter post, remember to include your website link!
Host giveaways and competitions
Who doesn’t want freebies? Hosting giveaways and competitions can drive traffic to your website as there will be many participants. But remember! The prize must be attractive enough.
