A few simple ways to get your work seen.
I know some people have written articles on how to get their Triond submissions seen. They focus on the more complicated ways to share your work. Here are a few very simple ways to up your views for both articles and photos.

- Build your friendships on Triond. Your submissions will show up on their dashboard. Give good titles that will pique their curiosity.
- Look at other members’ submissions and be sure to leave a comment. If they know you are looking at their work, they will look at your’s.
- Send the link to all your email friends. Also, post your Triond link in the signature of your emails.
- If you are on Facebook or any of the other “sharing” sites listed in the “share” link, post your submissions. That’s what it’s there for.
- Twitter! I have linked my Triond to Twitter so anything I publish AUTOMATICALLY goes on my Twitter page. I now have editors and literary agents following me. Those are the people I want to see my work. I follow them on Twitter and they in turn follow me. When I posted the soccer picture on Triond, it went up on Twitter and right away I received a notice that a soccer club was following me on Twitter. I don’t have to follow them, but if they are following me and they look at my submissions, that’s more views, more exposure, and good networking.
- Tags. Tags are so important. Those tags are how your articles pop up when people do searches. Right now my article on Raccoons in the Attic is getting a lot of hits because this is the time of year when people are having raccoon issues. I wrote a book review on a novel by author Saralee Rosenberg. Because I put her name in the tag SHE received a Google Alert and read my article. I have since “met” the author through video-conferencing (Skype) and was given the best writing advice I have ever received.
- If you are on any message board sites where spamming is prohibited, you can work your way around that by starting a discussion about your article. Discuss the topic, post the link, and then ask a question to start a discussion among the members. Don’t make your article/link the focus of the discussion, but DO make the TOPIC the focus.
Good luck everyone!

Because this information is for Triond users only, I did not use some of the methods above. Look at how few views I am getting.

I have slowly found out through trial and error that everything you say is true; but it’s so nice to have someone confirm my conclusions.

I’ve been hesitant to make the leap into Twitter, but based on your experiences I might have to make use of it and your other tips. Thanks for the advice!
