A simple step by step guide for people who get side tracked by all the options Google adwords has to offer.
Promote your site
If you have a website or blog and you have a service or products for sale than Google adwords is by far the best option. You can write your own add and set the maximum amount of money you would like to spend per day. You can change your add as many times as you want. You can also easily change the amount you spend per day. However Google adwords claims their side is simple to follow, it is easy to get side tracked by all the options they offer. To help you I have simplified the procedure.
How it works
- To begin with you need a gmail or orkut account.
- Next you need to set up your account with adwords and verify this.
Once you have this in place you can start an advertisement campaign, you can launch as many campaigns as you want. Take your time and be patience, than everything will work out fine.
Start an advertising campaign
- Sign in to Google adwords and click on campaigns in the left corner above.
- Next click on new campaign , you find this in the middle of the page.
- Select campaign settings , here you can fill in any name for your campaign, or just call it campaign 1.
- At the bidding and budget section you have the option to choose the maximum amount you are willing to pay for a click on your ad. The budget is set for one day. If you fill in €2.00/day you will not pay more than €60.00 per month, that is if people click on your ad.
Set your keywords or tags
Setting suitable keywords or tags for your ad can make a big difference whether people read your ad and where your ad is placed.
- Click on tools, on the left hand side of the toolbar and choose keyword tool.
- Type in your website URL in the middle column.
- click get keyword idea’s, wait and scroll down to find your suggested keywords, click add behind the keywords which you think are relevant for your ad.
- Scroll back up and click save to ad group.
To activate your ad be sure you have entered valid billing information.

There are so many spelling mistakes in your guide that it filled me with doubt about the content.
When I read through it, my doubts were confirmed.
Your advice about generating keywords is somewhat misguided – your process will only generate useful results if the website happens to be very relevant to the business area. In my experience, this is actually an area that many new/small businesses get wrong to start with.
You have not mentioned campaign settings – for example, turning off content to start with is a good idea for beginners as this is one area where money can be wasted.
Simplifying the process is one thing. Over simplifying it is not a good idea. It is easy to get side tracked by options, but some of them are very important.

Is google words google adsense? Because google adsense doesn’t allow access to my country. Great article though. I’ll try it again some other time.
