DAS is a free tracker that, next to the real time counter, offers more different functions that can be expected from a tracker. With DAS it’s possible to see the number of hits and the number of unique visitors, the referrers and details about the browser, screen resolution and the operating system of your visitors.

To start the real time counter of DAS you click on the traffic monitor-link after you have logged in. Every time when you have a visitor on your site you will hear a small beep sound (can be switched off). You will also see the next details about these visitors:

• The IP-address
• The referrer (that’s the page were the visitor came from came)
• The host (details about the internet provider of the visitor)

When you move your mouse to a particular phrase within this visitors report, then you will see supplementary details about this visitor. You will see information about the browser, the screen resolution, the operating system, the time zone and if a visitor is a unique visitor or not (a not unique visitor was already on your site).

The real time counter of DAS works as it should and is easy to operate. Big advantage of DAS is that its use is free of charge. Next to this version of the traffic monitor, you can also download it completely at reinvigorate.net and install it on your own server. This can be difficult because in that case you will have to install Java on the server.
