Could This Idea Bring Revenue to All Trionders? Is It Even Allowed?

Noticing the revenue at Triond seems to be mainly derived from clicks as opposed from views, I am wondering if as opposed to "views clubs", new "click clubs" could generate a huge revenue stream to Trionders and then I’m wondering if this is even allowed.

I have been wondering lately about the revenue model for Trionders, as it is not clear to me how we earn money. I wrote an article about this subject that was both a hit an something really revelling (ceck it at: http://webupon.com/money-making/rate-per-view-in-triond/).

I always thought Triond paid per views and also allowed for Google AdSense integration which would bring revenue per click as well to Trionders while Triond kept a reasonable share of it. I was wrong.

As response to my article, I received 500+ views in only a few days, several of them including comments on people explaining why they think the model is based on clicks and maybe a small portion on views. Some of these comments were very convincing, but what was more convincing is that the 500+ views only generated $0.01 which clearly demonstrates the revenue stream is click-related (meaning, ads displayed in articles and you get paid if someone clicks on them).

Even if there is revenue generated by views, it is extremely lower than the one generated by clicks.

And then it hit me. I have Triond friends that regularly pay visits to my articles, and I know there are others that do the same in Triond, which have what we can call a “views club”. I read articles about people visiting 5 of your article, giving you 5 likes, etc, and they are not asking anything on return, but typically one feels appreciation and returns the favor. I don’t know if that is “allowed” for saying so in Triond rules, but it is happening all the time.

Now, considering the revenue stream seems to be click-generated, and even if it wasn’t, bearing in mind Google AdSense without a doubt works that way, what would happen if those same Trionders would not only give you 5 views and 5 likes, but they would also click on an add in each one of those 5 articles? Give it a quick thought and you would start to wonder as I do.

I know with Google AdSense you sign an agreement to follow their rules and I recall something about not clicking on your own ads to generate fictitious revenue. But I am not proposing that. I am not even proposing anything, just wondering if this would be a glitch in the system, or if it would not be allowed.

If you think about it, the whole concept of money per click is that people posting ads pay only if their ads are clicked on, meaning they were effective for promoting their sites and products. If the “clicking club” would exist (i.e. people would give you clicks and would not request but typically get your clicks in return) the objective of this system would not occur (i.e. once someone clicks on an ad because of this practice, he/she would just close the browser and not check the site or product promoted).

I am probably reading too much into this and the reality is that evidently the reason for writing on Triond is not make a lot of money, because it is not usual that Trionders do, but came to think of it and thought of sharing to hear some comments.

I think you are on the right track. We should test it out.

Sounds logical. It does seem true that we write for our friends on Triond rather than for $$$.
