Now you have decided on why you should write your own email course it is now time for you to select the topic you are going to write about. Here are some tips to help you on your way.

  1. Think about the overall contents of your website. Who is the overall audience/readers? What sort of information do they come to seek on your website?

  2. Which topic do you have knowledge about?

  3. If you are a writer then why not go through some of your old articles and see which one’s could be turned into a course.

  4. Make a list of all the topics that you can write about.

  5. If you have an forum why not take a sneak peak and see what sort of topics people seem to be asking most about?

  6. Make an announcement on your website about your plans to write an email course. Ask readers for feedback and suggestions on topics. Make a note of their email addresses, once you have written the course you can get in touch and let them read your course.

  7. If it helps then look at other sites which offer courses. Look at their work for ideas and inspiration.

The topic should be something that you feel passionate about otherwise you will feel bored writing it. Research will help, you can directly ask readers what they want or just surf through the Internet and see what there is available.

Good luck with your course.
