So when I started working with building small sites, one thing that wasn’t in the current budget was a monthly hosting cost. So I started looking for companies that offered free hosting for domain names. Also to mention the companies mentioned here offer AD-Free Domain or Website Hosting, so no pesky Ads.

One of the first ones I found, was a site named ATSPACE. Which as a free member I get 50 MB of Storage/Disk Space, Unlimited Monthly Transfer, Unlimited Domains Hosted, Unlimited Sub-domains, and One FTP Account. This one has turned out to be useful for me with domains I currently own which receive minimum traffic monthly.

Now the first one worked out pretty nice for me, but I sometimes needed a little bit more. So I started the hunt for free host providers who also would offer .PHP Scripting & Scripts to be used on my account. After a little searching I found two companies which provided free hosting and the ability to take advantage of php coding.

First I found a site named 110MB. Which already by the name I kind of got a hint on the benefits of there hosting. As a free member I get 110MB of Disk Space, 100GB of Monthly Traffic, Max File Size of 8MB, One Domain Hosted, and Plenty of Supported Features such as: PHP 4 & 5, GD Lib 2.0.28, and a-lot more.

Then I found the second site name ByteHost. This one I really enjoyed being a member of, and as a free member here is what I got. I had 5500MB of Disk Space, 200GB Monthly Traffic, 50 Domains, and still the use of Features such as: 50 MySQL Databases, PHP MyAdmin, and Automatic Script Installers.
