Are copyright programs being violated?

Not much has been said about the millions of songs and movies that have been disbursed to millions of people on the Internet. Due to the Internet being a free exchange program as a whole, regulators are prosecuting to the full extent of the law, so beware. ISP services have reported their liberal opinion on such matters. Most of them wait for complaints from busters of movie companies as well as the music industry and software giants. Then they send notes to ISP asking to ban those using bandwidth that is usage in large amounts at a time from these sources. Comcast limits their bandwidth usage as well as others that may be following suit in the future. They think this will stop P2P programs from stealing this stuff. If you are stealing this stuff and selling it you are ruining it for others to be able to share with others that are just sharing and not making profits from someones hard work.

Is P2P in violation of allowing millions to upload and download movies and music to the world against the law? I think so personally the Internet Police have been at work individually arresting individuals as groups that store and download thousands of boot leg software programs and movies where people can obtain them free without paying the artists for them that work hard to make them for us. Although they are paid in some cases I think ungodly amounts of money it is still their work and there way of supporting their families or their lifestyle in which in America is our right to do.

On the other hand, some artists may look at this differently as free advertisment. Their work is given out to some and bought by others because it is that good. I have retrieved some music and bought the whole album and anything that comes along from that artist. Free advertising is a good way to sell a product. You gain in sales as well as not have to shell out the millions of dollars on advertising. It can work in two ways. The person listening will love your work and go out and buy the movie or get your album and the ones to follow.

I do not advocate downloading software or music or movies that are out there for grabs through P2P programs, however I do advocate free Internet always will once we begin to regulate this then the Government will get involved we know where that can go. So in my humble opinion let the sleeping dogs lie where they may, one instance of abuse I feel needs to be addressed, which is people selling what they have gotten freely on the Internet in bulk or otherwise that is wrong. That needs to be regulated. They are people that have stolen duplicated and marketed boot legged software, movies, etc to the general public and made profit this is wrong and will ruin P2P programs if this becomes a serious issue. That is what is regulated so if you are bulk selling copy written material I think you ought to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Also, giving or exchanging movies or music or other material what is the harm in that again advertising is passed along, to friends or anyone that wants to hear your work. Also it is like going and buying a music CD and passing it along to someone else to have or listen to. That cannot ever be regulated. It is what Americans and other countries do with our friends so to encourage full bloom bans on P2P programs is just off the wall, unless you are selling the download. This is not cool in my opinion and must be stopped, sharing it is what we do and that is cool. See the difference? What do you think?
