How to Use Torrents

torrents are a great way to download files, such as movies, games, and music. the torrents allow you to download the files from many sources and at a fast rate.

Step 1

The First step in using torrents is to download a good torrent client. the torrent client is the program through which you can download torrent files. the two main ones i would suggest would be bittorrent or utorrent. they can both be downloaded for free from there websites.

Step 2

Once you’ve downloaded a torrent client, install it onto your computer. once you’ve installed you may want to adjust the bandwidth allocation, or encrypt your files which will be found in the options menus on most clients. once you’ve set up your client how you like it your ready for step 3.

Step 3

Now your client is ready, the next step is to download the torrents you want. you can use google to find torrents but i would suggest using one of the following sites the pirate bay or torrent reactor. I usually use the pirate bay because there torrents have reviews so you can make sure its the torrent you want.

Step 4

Once you’ve downloaded the torrent files of your choice you should just be able to click on them and it should open in your client, it may require your consent though. If it doesn’t open when you click on it drag it in to the client while the client is open or drag it to the clients icon on your desktop.

Step 5

Now all you have to do is wait for your file to download and enjoy!!
