Need to send a larger file through a hotmail or yahoo account? Finally a solution.
Pando has created a solution for those of us who need to send out larger files. This would include videos, pictures, or documents. They give you a choice of either sending the file through email, instant messenger, placing on the web or Twitter. I do not use Twitter I use Sprouter, so this article will focus on how to use Pando through the other options.
The program has won awards from Tech Crunch and PC world, so it is software worth trusting and using. They offer a free version or a paid upgrade to send larger files which would also include no ads and tech support. The free version is the one I am testing and writing about which offers up to a 1 GB download or upload.
Begin by downloading the program from the site, then filling out the profile. Once the profile is filled out then you can begin to send the files. The share new button is how to begin to send the file. Click on share new, and chose how to send the folder or file.
When you choose the option of email, another box will appear. Simply fill out who you are sending the email to, upload the folder then place a topic on the email with the description of the file you are sending. They will require the software Pando to pick up the folder.
The instant message option looks similar to the email option when filling out the information. You will then be given a link to place into your instant messenger that they can pick up the package from that location.
The option of placing it onto the web is also similar, but you are given coding to place onto your blog or website. They simply click on the package and upload it. They will require the program Pando to use the features of this software.
With Pando you can also keep an eye on how many downloads that package has received, another fine tool.
This type of software has been needed for larger files for internet based emails for quite some time. Pando can also work with outlook as an option, but most people for security and privacy reasons have opted for online based emails. Pando makes it simple yet effective to send out larger files and for you to pick them up.
