Recommended Add-Ons for Firefox

Browsers

These are some add-ons that I recommend for Firefox.

Cooliris

Lets you search the web for images and collects all of it in a stylish, easy-to-use interface. The browser plug-in lets you preview images and/or websites without opening and waiting for them to load. This is a very useful application for many things and I highly recommend everyone to have it.

StumbleUpon

Select some topics that you are interested in and then let this add-on do the rest! It will take you to relevent sites and you can ThumbsUp them if you like, or ThumbsDown if they aren’t your cup of tea. I have come across many, many cool sites that I never would have known existed. If you are bored or ever have some time to kill, which we all do, then StumbleUpon is a must have addition for your browser.

DownThemAll!

This is a download accelerator for Firefox. Not much to it, it does what it says and can speed up your downloads a lot. There are also some nifty features such as being able to download all images or certain types of media on a single page. It is a great way to eliminate some time spent waiting for downloads to complete.

GooglePreview

GooglePreview saves you lots of time over time. All that time spent typing those keywords into Google adds up after a while. This add-on guesses what you wil be typing and also shows what other popular searches are compared to what you are typing. It shows up with many interesting searches that lead to much more knowledge of random and unexpected proportions.

Foxmarks

Perhaps the most underrated, this add-on turns searching through tons of bookmarks into a quick and painless process. There are many ways to manage your time on the internet more efficiently and this is probably the best to do it. If you bookmark anything that is interesting or you think you might want to come back to then this is a must-have extension for Firefox.
