Mozilla Firefox, now in its 3rd version, is the King of all of the Internet Browsers.
I have tried most of the major browsers, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, and Safari. Each browser has there own strength and weakneses, but I believe Firefox has the best qualities; and I’ll be telling the Pros and Cons of IE and Firefox.
Firefox:
Firefox is a revolutionary web-browser that was first known as Phoenix. Firefox has:
- A Built-In Spell Checker
- Over 1000+ Add-Ons
- Themes to suit your liking
- Has over millions of users using it
- And even more.
There are some cons when there are pros. Firefox:
- Might block sites that are legit, with it’s built in site blocker.
- Might take up a lot of memory by Add-Ons.
- And Firefox may crash if using a lot of add-ons at the same time.
Let’s go to IE for a sec.
Internet Explorer is the Web Browser that was developed by Microsoft, about a million years ago. IE is the internet browser that comes pre-installed on any Windows Computer. Apparenty, you can’t uininstall it, so if IE was taken advantage over a virus, you’d have to system restore back or format. D=
Pros:
- Clean Design
- Opens up pretty quickly
- Pretty Basic, so a computer-illiterate can even use it.
Cons:
- Lack of Add-Ons
- Websites take a while to load.
- Lack of Themes
- Made by Microsoft. D=
Well i’m not telling you to STOP using IE, I’m using it right now in the matter of fact. Just try out FireFox by downloading it at:
Well, happy browsing.
