Want a new phone? The LG Xenon might be a fit for you!

I’ve had the LG Xenon in blue for about 3 years now. It comes in 3 colors: blue, red, and black. It’s one of the better text messaging phone, with a touchscreen and full keyboard.

The LG Xenon 4.16 inches long and 2.11 inches wide. It is 0.62 inches thick and weighs 3.81 ounces. As I previously mentioned, it comes in 3 colors. There is also a touch of chrome around the border, and looks pretty sleek.

There are 3 different homescreens on the LG Xenon. A home screen with the date and time, a ‘favorite contacts’ screen, and one with up to 9 shortcuts. There are also 4 icons at the bottom of each screen for dialing, contacts, messaging, and menu. The menu has many icons too for features such as pictures, GPS, games, etc.

My first Xenon lasted about 2 years until I dropped it one times too many and it broke. It’s a pretty durable phone, compared to modern day smart phones. Speaking of smart phones, the Xenon is not one. There are some apps, and an internet browser, but it’s not considered one. The Internet browser is also a bit “clunky”, making it hard to use.

PROS: Good touch-screen display, customizable options, shortcuts, 3G speeds, a 2-megapixel camera.

CONS: Web browser isn’t very good, not many features as a smart phone

All in all, the LG Xenon is a very practical phone with more pros than cons.
