Ok so I’m sure many other have done this, but for those that haven’t I’ll share. Rather than installing some fancy firefox theme I have found a decent way to minimize the clutter in the firefox browser window.

Here’s the steps.
- Right click on the toolbar and choose customize
- Drag all of the icons to the corresponding places in the top menu bar (see the inserted image)
- Drag off any that are pointless (and most are)
- Click DONE
- Then right click the toolbar again and uncheck the navigation and bookmarks toolbars
Presto! The browser should have a more streamlined appearance. Unfortunately unlike Chrome or Internet Explorer you cant get the screen real estate from the top header but this method does get you everything in two rows. I have found this to be a good method for getting some screen real estate for netbooks such as the MSI wind.
