Wow, I didn´t know that. I didn´t make that much of a research about the tab function. It is a very useful technique and I am glad that someone invented it!

Tabbed browsing firefox was not the first and neither was opera. Netcaptor was the first to use tabbed browsing in 1998. Its no longer available. I beleive it was a custom skin for ie. Opera may have been the first to run all of your browser windows from one main window starting with their first release in 1997 but didn't add tabs until 2000. Operas tabs are done differently than others and some people don't consider them true tabs so you get a debate as to whom was first with tabs firefox or opera. Firefox was released in 2002 with tabs. <br />
I don't know if Adam Styles(author of netcaptor) got his idea for multiple browser windows within one from opera and improved upon it or came up with it on his own but everyone enjoying modern browsers with tabs owes him thanks.

Opera wins speed, not just Internet connection speed. I admit I love Firefox, but honestly it's dull without those lovely extensions, and sadly these extensions eat lots of RAM. Even Firefox alone already greedy towards RAM. :) I love IE6 on Windows 2000 SP4. But it's on the 3rd place - Opera and Firefox keep exchanging in the 1st place. ;) The 2nd place goes to Safari for Windows. And I never knew about Spacetime - thanks for sharing it, may try sooner.

Again, a browser tester has not included Maxthon. There is not another browser which is more customizable. Maxthon offers more plug-in's, skins, pop-up and script blocking features than any of the browsers you tested. Maxthon is as secure as your beloved Firefox or Opera, and that is completely provable. Do not dismiss Maxthon as just another front-end for IE. If you do, it simply points out your narrow-mindedness and bias.
