Browsers

These are five reasons why you should go with Mozilla Firefox rather than Internet Explorer.

Firefox and Internet Explorer are both web browsers.  This means that they both connect you to the world wide web.  However there are some major differences between the two browsers that makes one of them better.  The better of the two is Firefox.  This article will explain why Mozilla Firefox is better than its rival, Internet Explorer.

  1. Firefox is faster.  In these days people want to be able to go from webpage to webpage quickly.  Firefox allows this much more than IE (Internet Explorer).  It also loads up faster than IE.  This can be a great bonus if your in a rush in the morning.
  2. Firefox is more organized.  When I say this I mean that when you open up the browser there aren’t any tabs like in Internet Explorer.  Also everything is more square which can be more pleasing to the eye.
  3. Firefox has add-ons.  This is the one thing that Internet Explorer doesn’t have.  This can be anything from helpful widgets to helpful tools.  These are also very easy to access and easy to download.  To use them or just to take a look at what you have an option to got to Tools, then Add-ons, and then just type in what you want in the search bar.  This will open up in a smaller window so you won’t need to worry about what your doing on your current page.
  4. Firefox has a search bar.  This is up all of the time because firefox is owned by Google.  This is really good because you don’t need to go to google.com to search things.  This is a nice touch even if you don’t use it that often.  This can be found right under the minimize, restore down, and close buttons in the top right hand corner of the window.
  5. Firefox can be downloaded for free, import bookmark from another browser, and save the pages you are in now and go straight there when you open up the browser again.  It can be downloaded from www.mozilla.com.  Its free, like most web bowsers, and the download is really quick.  No need to reboot your computer or laptop after it is finished installing like Internet Explorer.  It can import bookmarks and history from another browsers when you install Firefox.  This is nice because then you won’t need to type in the web address over and over again to get it saved.  Lastly it can save the page you are on before you close it.

By reading this article I hope that you decide to use Mozilla Firefox as your default browser.  Thanks for reading and I hope that this will help you out in the future.

    2. This is personal taste.
    3. IE also has addons.
    4. IE has search bar too, not sure what this means.
    5. IE does most of this, but sure what the “better” stuff is supposed to be.
