To those of you hardcore Leighton Meester fans, you may have been one of the billions of people worldwide (yes, bloggers from Brazil to Japan were followers of this): http://missleightonyesitsme.blogspot.com/ is an absolute fake blog. Most probably created by an obsessed fan.

The crazed blogger’s nationality is in question for she/he had posted blog articles in straight French (or she maybe multilingual, who knows?).

This blog was the most believable fake blog I’ve seen. The fake Leighton was so detailed with her entries. She wrote about the abuse and boyfriend troubles just like anyone of us would. I was really caught in the scam when I started reading about her Q&A portion she had in her comment box. She answered every question the fans fired at her. Come to think of it,how would a majorly successful actress / recording artist / cover girl/ model have time to write down what she thinks about muffins and denim jackets when she barely has time for herself?

Who is disillusional blogger? That we’ll never know. Though she did change the site already, deleted all the fake entries, the lay out and links to more fake accounts like the fake facebook and twitter account when, if you’ve read the Rolling Stone Gossip Girl Edition, she clearly stated that she does not have a facebook or twitter.

Going to another story, many have been in shock after the news that Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan have been engaged. That announcement was made in her fake facebook which was also created by her crazy fan who made the blog. She,Leighton, then made an announcement that the rumour was false.

 http://missleightonyesitsme.blogspot.com/ is now a site that reads “Livin La Vida Idiots” in big fonts right up in the header to make us all who used to drop by it feel like “idiots”. Then again, who’d be more of an idiot, us who unknowingly dropped by the blog or her who lived her life online pretending she was Leighton Meester?
