I got my Mojo workin’.
Blogging can give you the blues. It can also make you high. I get high a lot. Off of blogging. Trying to come up with ideas for a new article. Trying to get page views for my Triond account.

Blogging on Triond is how I re-live the experience of my life. Blogging helps me to deal with life. I can hold life up to the light and try to make sense of the actions of other people and my own actions. Sometimes I come up with the question, What in the world was I thinking? Then there are times when I think proudly, You did the right thing.
I blog about making money and online marketing. I blog about writing. But is this all that blogging is about? Is there something deeper? I like to think there is something deeper.
Or maybe I’m just kidding myself. Maybe having a blog is just a way for the blogger to stroke his or her ego.
I’m always fascinated by the blogs that are made up of rants. Rants against this and rants against that. Many of these blogs get a lot of page views. Some of the most popular blogs on the Internet are one long rant. These ranters are so good they become celebrities.
I think the popular ranters give voice to the frustrations that many of their readers feel.
But I’m not a ranter. I just go along quietly offering what I hope are useful tips on blogging. I guess when you get right down to it, I blog because I want to be useful.
Today the sun is shinning in Pittsburgh. In a little while I’ll take a walk in the sun shine and hope that what I blogged about today someone might find it useful.

I agree with you Guy; I’m not a ranter either. And yes, a lot of ranters seem to get a lot of hits but do they have anything worthwhile to contribute other than a lot of hot cyber air.
I also agree with you about what to write about. People tend to want to read more about writing and how to write better and ways to market their writing and so on.

Blogging has become sort of a lifestyle now. It’s a good way to practice writing one’s writing, too. Perhaps I should blog more often. Thanks for the input.

Another very interesting read! I thinking blogging has become a way to express oneself and obviosuly no two people are the same so everyone tries to blog differently or have something different about what they are blogging about.I will admit I like to rant once in a while when I am feeling frustrated but I can honestly say you had it spot on Guy,a lot of people do read this! I think they read it because they feel the same way however; just do not know how to express it,therefore;thier resolve is to read something they feel strongly about.
