Blogging

The time has come for blogging to become just a regular job. The only irregular thing about it are rare big paychecks.

Blogging has become just another regular job. What has changed is product. This new product that offers so many opportunities to their proud owners is information. It is structured information about any topic you can think of in a form of opinion, photo, video or sidebar widget. Anything is acceptable.

When blogging goes beyond hobby it brings cash. A lot of cash! How much of it? Michael Arrington with TechCrunch has $1.8 million of annual ad income. How about Mario Lavandreira with his famous PerezHilton who earns $400.000 - $800.000. Not bad. Another example is Jeremy Schoemaker with ShoeMoney who makes $10.000 per month. Not only that blogging is serious hobby, but it also becomes serious business.

Great thing about Blogging For Money is that it is easy. Everyone can learn really fast how to do it. Some bloggers even earn big by offering free advices about Blogging For Money. This acts like “meta blogging”, blogging about blogging! Just visit ProBlogger, read it and you will know almost anything there is to know about this subject. Knowledge is for free, but Darren Rowse makes good revenue from his meta blogging.

There isn’t exact information about it, but number of meta bloggers is rapidly increasing lately. This is expected since there is more and more people every day who realized how blogging has become regular self employment job. Meta bloggers even tend to use similar tools and approach for their online business. They start with .com domain purchasing, installing WordPress, free blogging platform. When traffic is generated they experiment with different affiliate strategies or paid reviews services and cash starts to flow.

This sounds simple. Actually, it is very simple. Question is how many meta bloggers can exists before critical number is reached when revenues become same as salary from any other job. This will not happen soon, not this year, so Web is still open for business. Will you join?
