Kim Kardashian Saved My Blog

Blogging

Once a blog finds its core audience it must carefully reach beyond that audience without losing it. This is where online marketing comes into play.

Hello, my brother and sister bloggers and writers.  It’s the Old Soldier here with another report from the front lines of blogging.  My blog is still feeling the good vibrations of a recent article that I did on Kim Kardashian and nude celebrities.  The article did so well that I did another article on her, and I was able to find a photo of her nude to go along with the article.

No, my blog has not turned into a blog about celebrities.  The blog is still about writing, but since it also covers and features the writing of erotica, the text about Kim Kardashian and the photo are a nice way to lead my readers to the erotica on the blog and the links to the erotica of my Triond content.  It all fits together nicely.

This brings me to the point of this article on blogging.

As far as I can tell, many bloggers start out blogging about something they like.  They may even start out blogging about themselves; but usually, if a blogger wants as large a reading audience as possible that blogger has to fill his or her online publication with either information that will be useful to a targeted audience or entertainment that the targeted audience will enjoy.  I now have both.

I started out convinced that I could build a large readership with articles about writing and literary content.  I struggled to get 100 readers a day.

Now that I’m featuring erotica and celebrities I easily get over 100 readers every day.  Last month was the first time that over 3,000 visitors came to my blog.  I will easily beat that number of visitors for October.

A blog must first survive, then it must grow.

Adding articles about celebrities will help bring in visitors but I have to find other topics, too. I must never forget that the blog is about writing and flash fiction.

These reality shows are the pits, yuuuk. I agree that you must write what the public will read. Good advice.

I’m glad the nitwit was good for something. Good advice though.

Yep, putting up naked pictures is sure to attract visitors. Its good that youve found your niche. I personally don’t like Kardashian. I don’t like it when people commodify their bodies. But I do like your style on here. So keep going. I won’t be cruising the naked pics, (well maybe I will but I just won’t admit it .) But I will support my fellow bloggers who are smart enough to get a good following on here. Go forth and blog

You have collected a large army,it requires great skill and resource to first give them what they want. Then you may laugh in privacy.

Hi you old soldier, I totally agree with you I love to write short erotic stories or articles on historic aircraft and all things military. However every 3 or 4 articles I try to do a news article or an article on something current and up to date. Just writing about subjects we like will not swell readers or the bank account. Good point as always. LB
