Blogging is one of the great way to attract daily readers to your sites. People can even make money by blogging. But for now, first things first: What is a blog? Blogs are basically online journals people make to record their hobbies, important entries, personal experiences, and so on. Blogs are usually updated on a daily basis, so that daily readers are excited to go to your blog and read it. If you want to be successful, you can take these tips, but really, you should be patient with your blog to become successful and popular unless you’re a well known celebrity, but that usually isn’t the case.

Tip 1: Try to write about valuable information everyone wants to know.

Everybody goes to search engines such as google or yahoo to look for something. If you provide great information everyone really wants to know, then each time you post something in that category, you’ll be getting a lot of views. Plus, the more people like it, the more they are tempted to show everyone they know, and the chain reaction starts from there. Make them want more.

Tip 2: Try to show off your blog.

Not exactly show off, but try to start off small. Share with your friends, family, or anyone you know. Social Bookmarking sites such as “Digg” or “StumbleUpon” will really help a lot with this. You can also try making personal relationships with popular bloggers, and tell them about your blog. Do something. Don’t wait at home and wait for a few hours thinking “I hope that at least a couple can see my blog.” Advertise!

Tip 3: Starting off all by yourself is hard, get advice!

As I said before, make personal relationships with other popular bloggers and try to find advice about what makes their blogs so successful. There are teachers in this world for a reason, so you should try to find a blogger to make good friends with and ask for advice! Don’t be shy! Get some basic information on blogging if you’re new.

Tip 4: Try Try again…

After you start out your blog, you must remember the things that didn’t go so well with your viewers. Don’t make the same mistake again, or you may lose some viewers. Try all sorts of things until you can feel a comfortable topic and good comments on your blog on a daily basis. Don’t give up!

You must have a great first impression. The title is one of the most vital things about your blog. Most people would be more interested in what the “Ultimate Destiny” Blog would contain rather than “Read my Blog.” People tend to look at the first couple of words in your blog and then decide what they think of it. So the first couple of sentences should attract a lot of viewers! Great title and awesome first couple of sentences should deliver many curious viewers right to your door.

Tip 6: Don’t blob, organize!

Just clumping a lot of words together doesn’t make a great blog, as people wouldn’t want to look at a wide, long page with words stuffed in it, so you must seperate your words into subtitles, subheadings, and so on. It will help immenesly to seperate some paragraphs.

Tip 7: “I…I can’t go on..”

Don’t overwhelm yourself. If you need a break, then take one. You’re not going to lose viewers if you don’t post in a while, so you can take that fear away.

Tip 8: Don’t read your readers’ minds

You just have to write on your blog, and don’t think about what other people will think of your blog. Don’t think about all of the bad comments, mocks, or insults you may get from your blog. Try to keep moving forward and focus on positive things and fun.
