Blogging

If you are blogging, you already have readers who like what you write. Why not install the handy Triond article feed at your blog so that your readers can see your latest Triond articles?

In a recent article, I discussed  How to Add Your Triond Article Feed to Your HubPages. Not everyone, though, has reached the point where they have created HubPages. Some writers are busy working on their blogs and creating online articles.

This article is aimed at Blogger bloggers. If you have a Blogger blog, you can use it to show readers your Triond articles via the handy Triond article feed.

The Triond article feed will show 5 of your articles. Better still, you have options as to how your articles display.

Are you ready to get started?

Installing the Triond Article Feed on Your Blogger Blog

  1. Sign in to the Triond Dashboard
  2. Go to “Customize Your Profile Page”
  3. Find the square orange feed button
  4. Right-click on it and select “Properties”
  5. Copy the address (run your mouse over it and hit copy)
  6. Go to your Blogger blog and sign in
  7. Choose “Layout”
  8. Go to “Add a Gadget”
  9. Scroll down to the 12th item, “Feed”
  10. Click on it and where it asks for the feed URL, insert your cursor and hit paste
  11. Then choose “Continue”
  12. Your Triond articles should magically appear!

Triond Article Feed Settings

  1. Now, where you see “Title” type in “My Triond Articles” or “My Triond Article Feed” or “Catch My Latest Triond Articles” or something to that effect.
  2. Underneath “Title” you’ll see “Show.” Make sure that “5″ is showing/selected so that 5 articles are displayed
  3. Underneath that, you’ll see “Item dates.” I would check the box so readers see when you publish new articles.
  4. Press “Save” and your Triond article feed is up and running on your Blogger blog!
  5. Now, go to your blog and locate your Triond article feed and your 5 articles. Neat, eh?

Placement of the Triond Article Feed

I would go back to Blogger Layout and drag the feed capsule near to the top of your blog. There’s a saying in the Internet community, “above the fold.” Most blog readers skim the top part of blogs and webpages. While they are skimming, you want them to see your Triond articles. Drag the Triond article feed capsule right up top, so they can’t miss it.

Drawing Attention to Your Triond Article Feed by Using Catchy Titles

You may choose to use a number of Triond article feeds at your Blogger blog/blogs depending on your blog topics; however, that’s beyond the scope of this article.

What do you do, if your Triond articles are very different from your blog offerings? Should you still use the Triond article feed? I would, within certain parameters.

  •  If you’ve written a number of different articles, you could entitle your Triond article feed something like “Just For Fun” or “From the Melting Pot” or “Hot Off the Grill.”
  • If you’ve written on specific topics and all 5 articles are similar, certainly, highlight that aspect in your Triond article feed title, so readers know right away what the articles are about.
  • For example, if you’ve written articles about car repair, you could entitle your Triond article feed thusly: “From the Toolbox.”

  • Whatever title you choose for your Triond article feed, make it catchy, something that grabs readers’ attention.

Using Triond article feeds is such a convenient way of directing attention to your Triond articles. In the end, the Triond article feed is much easier to set up, over having to link to separate articles.

Very handy tips here-I just followed your advice, and put up a few (meaning 5) articles I’ve written. I’ll have to work on the relevance to my blogger site, though! :)

    Hi Steve,

Building a readership takes time. Providing good-quality content and lots of links, etc. helps.

    Hi Athlyn
We need spoonfeeding!! Don’t be afraid to make your articles really simple (I loved the “step by step” in this one)
Could you do one on: “How to get the double lines under words and earn money!!” That would be great – revivor
