How to Delete All Comments in Wordpress Blog

To solve it we must find another way to remove all comments. Some of them you can try are through SQL or by using a plugin.

Remove the comment is actually quite easy, by clicking Comments >> select a comment to be removed>> Trash. Or if you want to immediately remove the dozens of articles as well as live check Author then Bulk Actions >> Select >> Apply.

So what if you have many comments to thousands or perhaps tens of thousands because your blog is very popular or even perhaps because the ignorant by spammers with so that your blog has a lot of useless comments, which in the end ” fatten ” blog database size? Of course the way I gave earlier will be difficult. Not because it cannot, but it will take a very long process.

1. How to Delete All Comments through SQL

Login to cPanel >> phpMyAdmin >> Select the database name (ex: db_wrdp2) >> Click “wp_comments” >> contents of the numbers 1000 (or more) on the “Row (s)” and click “Show” >> Click “Check All” >> Click “Delete”. Completed.

2. How to Delete All Comments WordPress Plugin Using Suicide

  • WordPress Suicide plugin download, install and activate.
  • Log in to your wordpress >> Tools >> Suicide.
  • Eliminate the entire checklist except the “wp_comments”, then click the “Yes”

Before deleting all the comments on blogs using the above methods, you should first do a database backup to avoid things that are not desirable.
