Doldrums at The End of The Week

I mentioned earlier that the second and third days of the week are the easiest in this occupation of mine. Fridays seem the most boring, when the ennui stacks up the highest. A conspiracy of a large inventory and archaic software forces me to update the values of said inventory, one item at a time. Lucky me, there’s some software that does it for me, I only need to stay awake and guide the train, should it derail. Bring the laptop with me, and write while I’m watching this happen. Easy. Gravy. Life is good, if a touch uneventful, but for the occaisional piece of inventory in code five or code six. Big happening, that.
I’ve been taken by this mellifluous style of blogging- just open up a text editor and start firing a stream of thought. It’s a welcome escape from the “Greetings, dear readers…” straightjacket. Should your bored correspondent survive today, he’ll keep this up, methinks.
