How to increase the page views of your websites, blogs or articles is one of the most common questions I hear from bloggers, which is also one of my questions. The fact is always no matter how hard to try, the daily page views cannot achieve 100 or more. If you are also in the same situation as I, you can try this simple way to increase the traffic of your blog, which is said to be able to help you break 1000 page views per day. You need to plan your time and keep on doing, which is another hard work.

Representative Articles

Spend at least one hour to research, arrange, think and write your representative articles per day.

You should remember that your aim is to show your readers one representative article per week. If it is not easy to achieve at the beginning, you can change it to per two weeks. So you require 6 to 12 hours to finish each of your representative articles, which is not a hard work if you really do it every day.

A representative article is always a structured article that aims to show a large amount of valuable information to your target readers. Here are some types of representative articles:

• A long list of resources,
• A detailed tutorial about how to use the resources,
• A solution to a common problem in your field

The aim of the representative article is when visitors read it, they will want to bookmark it as well as your blog, and they even want to cite your article in their own website or blog.

Social Networking

Social networking is necessary, especially at the early stage of your blog. Here is what you need to do every day:

• Comment on other related blogs
• Link to the related posts
• Communicate with other related bloggers via Twitter

Remember to build your relationships with the bloggers in your field. You communicate with them because of their respective work and because you two together can grow better.

Promotion

All of your articles especially the respective one should be search engine optimized and submit to all social bookmarking sites. Of course, the first thing you need to promote is your respective articles. Just after you publish your respective articles, you should promote it at once in all the ways you know, such as:

• Post the link to your social networking sites to let readers know (such as your fans and friends)
• Mention it in the comments of other bloggers’ relevant posts
• Submit your article to social bookmarking sites and let some of your friends to do the same
• Twitter your article and let some of your friends to do the same
• Post the description or abstract of your article on forums and newsgroups.

Regular Posts

Regular posts are what you should routinely publish in your blog, twice or third times per week between every two respective articles. Here are some ideas for normal posts:

• Link to and express your opinion about an article on another blog
• Tell something new in your field to your readers
• Tell a new resource, tip or trick you found which is useful to the readers

While respective articles are necessary to promote your blog and get new readers, regular posts will keep the old readers.
