A thousand mile journey begins with one step.
With all this talk about online marketing, making money and driving traffic, let’s not forget about the blogger. Let’s not forget about the emotional stamina that’s needed to maintain a blog day in and day out. It takes dedication. It takes hope. It takes passion.

Blogging, of course, is about communicating. It’s about trying to make someone somewhere pay attention if only for a moment. And that’s work. It can be fun too but it’s also work. It takes time. It takes energy. Blogging is labor and time intensive.
Blogging is now my profession. I’m still trying to figure out ways to make it pay better. But like everyone else, I have to find the energy and time to do it. Blogging is not the only thing I do. I can’t imagine how other people with much greater responsibilities than I have find the strength to blog. Often, bloggers have to be resilient and resourceful people.
A serious commitment to blog brings with it never ending struggle. And remember, those of us who only publish on Triond are bloggers, too.
I have to balance blogging on my Triond Account with blogging on my personal blog. Yes, I have blogger madness. There ain’t no cure.
There’s only tomorrow.

That’s right, a bit of madness is needed, or should we call it passion? It certainly is infectious.
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:05 am
I really want to be a serious blogger here at Triond, but Triond continues to frustrate me with how slow it takes for some articles to get published.
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:42 am
drelayaraja, this was fun to do. I took part of the title from an old movie.
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:46 am

I hear ya! I am getting blogging crazy myself. I might come to you, asking you for help, if it drives me totally insane :p
November 23rd, 2009 at 10:43 am
Just think – when you say *There is only tomorrow,* there is another saying somewhere that states, *And tomorrow never comes.* (quotes were not accepted)
Looks like we are going to be blogging for a long time to come. lol
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:39 am
I intend to blog for the long run.
November 23rd, 2009 at 1:31 pm
In spite of the many issues on Triond, I’m still addicted to it. And I still can’t think of myself as a blogger. I equate blogging to writing a diary (writing about themselves) – I mostly write creative writing pieces.
November 23rd, 2009 at 8:44 pm
Of course the life line in blogging is the hope it provides that tomorrow will be a good day.You have been quite frank in your views always. Thanks for sharing.

I haven’t have time to write anything new yet, but I will log in Triond and read my friends articles to support them. Is writing comment like this considered blogging too?
