Blogging: There’s Always Tomorrow

Blogging

A thousand mile journey begins with one step.

With all this talk about online marketing, making money and driving traffic, let’s not forget about the blogger.  Let’s not forget about the emotional stamina that’s needed to maintain a blog day in and day out.  It takes dedication.  It takes hope.  It takes passion.

Blogging, of course, is about communicating.  It’s about trying to make someone somewhere pay attention if only for a moment.  And that’s work.  It can be fun too but it’s also work.  It takes time.  It takes energy.  Blogging is labor and time intensive.

Blogging is now my profession.  I’m still trying to figure out ways to make it pay better.  But like everyone else, I have to find the energy and time to do it.  Blogging is not the only thing I do.  I can’t imagine how other people with much greater responsibilities than I have find the strength to blog.  Often, bloggers have to be resilient and resourceful people.

A serious commitment to blog brings with it never ending struggle.  And remember, those of us who only publish on Triond are bloggers, too.

I have to balance blogging on my Triond Account with blogging on my personal blog.  Yes, I have blogger madness.  There ain’t no cure.

There’s only tomorrow.

In spite of the many issues on Triond, I’m still addicted to it. And I still can’t think of myself as a blogger. I equate blogging to writing a diary (writing about themselves) – I mostly write creative writing pieces.
