Here are the basics of tagging.
First off let me say I am not an expert on the use of tags. I do have a personal blog at WordPress. Let me tell you what I know.
My blog is, Pittsburgh Flash Fiction Gazette. I’m going through a new cycle with my blog. I’m in the post-something-every-day cycle. That’s because when I post new content every day the blog averages 100 hits a day and at least 10 of those visitors visit my Triond content. The Gazette helps me to make money. The Gazette is my personal online marketing tool.

When I’m blogging on the Gazette I try to fill my articles with plenty of key words. This is because when the article is done, I go through it and type into the tag box bellow the article all the key words so that the search engines can find the article. I click on the add button and all the key words are listed as tags.
Then I publish the article.
When a reader uses a key word to find something and if the key word is the same as a key word that I used as a tag there is a chance my article will come up on the search page of the reader’s browser.
Here is something important. The tags in my article appear below the article. The tags do not appear in the article. The writing is nice and clean.
So, that’s what I know about blogging using tags. I am not a great blogger but I am a hungry blogger. If you visit the Gazette you can see what tags look like.
Good luck with your own blogs.

That’s a nice tip. When I joined Triond I also tried to create my website (even without html knowledge) gradually for more than a year. This was made possible by automated website creation using drag and drop technology. When I thought I had enough content, I launched it on October 22. When I integrated Triond with Google Adsense a few days ago, my website with links to my articles in Triond mattered a lot. I earned both ways. Never thought that would happen. You may visit my website at http://www.palawaniana.net to see how this works.

Thanks for the information, I agree with you about clean text aith tags below. I have a program that shows me where the visitors to my blog came from and the search terms that people used. People search for some very odd things!

I did make significant increase in readership using tags. Thanks for the idea you posted. I used Google Adwords to make my tags. My readership increased four to five times because of this approach. See the results here:

I’m thankful Guy for your tip that helped me achieve it.
