Blogging can be a hobby and exploring in blogs can be fun…

Who says blogging ain’t fun? I certainly think it does. The term blogging is something like logging on something. To log on some words, to log on ideas, to log on thoughts, feelings and interpretation. Whenever I see the word blog everywhere and anywhere, I would always want to see the contents.
The set of questions that I have in my head are:
- What is the blog about?
- Is it a niche blog, or just a personal blog? Or a mixture of both?
- Does the blog has a specific genre or just a jumble up of everything?
- Is it a professional looking blog like that of an online business blog or something informal?
- Do I enjoy it, and put bookmarks to come back and read updates in future?
When you start to have a targeted audience, or attracting traffic to your blog, there is a certain kind of motivation for you to post more contents. And the keyword to having a blog is to write, write and write. In other words, updating contents most of the time. Regularity in a blog makes people keep coming for more, and it’s a mini idea of fun.
- Let’s have an instance. You are a TV producer and you project a program on TV and broadcast. You would want some good ratings for that show, right? It might mean in terms of commercial advertising getting big profits too, however, I’m using the idea of the context only. When you know that you have an audience, there is this natural tendency to multiply. And that’s why you see some shows being called for 2nd seasons and more because there is a demand for it.
With that, I come back to blogging topic. Is blogging fun? You have to ask yourself this question at some point or another. Some people do hate blogging and finding that the reason for them to blog is pointless. I’ve read some comments on other sites saying that. But most of us love to blog and will have a blog program that we either stick with it, or to update as and when we have the free time. And the contents of different blogs differ. I have come across a personal blog whom this person tags about the person’s life and the blog is nothing but on the person’s thoughts and feelings. There are also some blogs which I’ve come across having a specific target like say, on gardening. The person loves to blog about gardening and hence, such a blog is made.
Looking at it closely, or dissecting it, a blog can become our hobby too. Like last time when we were young and small, we would stick with playing marbles, or just a card game. Or playing street soccer with other school buddies or just fly kite. Anything, as long as the hobby is there. Can a blog be said and labeled as a hobby? Yes it can…it’s you whom decides that. The word blogging is expanding by the day too. Some call it micro-blogging now, where you squeeze in a few words in a program like Twitter. And you have all these other free blog programs naming Blogger (one of the best for me), Live-journal, Wordpress, Multiply, Friendster Blog and many more. The list is endless. Just choose any free program, get your fingers typing and whip out those contents. Type, type and type. And don’t forget Triond too. I consider this a blogging medium for me as well. Getting your online contents across and getting more friends to share those with.
There was this particular moment in my life where I went for hibernation for awhile. I thought I should catch up on my life and not committing to my blog so much. You know what? I can call that an experimentation period for me because on those missing days, I missed my blog so much. In fact, I missed it that much that I kept on reading others blogs and finding myself being able to ‘re-connect’. Like I find a passion for blogging there still. These people are spending minutes right up till hours blogging. Hours if you add up their minutes here and there typing contents. So, why am I just losing it? I was still rushing for time and trying to figure out what to complete and how to go about completing my everyday life tasks even when I was not blogging. In fact, I can perform better in my everyday life when I was actively blogging. I did have time for everything and anything, on top of blogging. So, I got back to it. I won’t get back to an ex, but I will always get back to blogging. That’s for sure.
Therefore, if you ask me, I’d say what are you waiting for? Go and blog. Blogging is fun, for those whom have discovered the wonderfulness of it. It does not mean that you should pry and read peoples blogs. I don’t take it that way. True that blogs that are with the context ‘I’ person is basically about that person’s life journey. What they eat, where they sleep, what they think and all that. But at the same time, you gain some kind of inspiration for your own blog and some sort like putting a pause button to your thoughts and giving some time to read others thoughts and feelings. The blogging world is a whole chunk of network and goes by, ‘You read mine and I read yours’. That kind of thing. And if it’s not supposed to be read, it’s not called a blog then. It’s called a diary. Where it’s kept locked, shut off from the world and being kept a secret. Only waiting for the day for it to be discovered and having someone to read it all.

I’d say the one or the ones whom have discovered blogging is such a genius. Wonder if that person(s) had seen all these wonderful things coming. In other words, opening up a medium for all to jot down content upon content and having their posts read and making others wonder, think, smile and many more. Yes, I say blogging is fun. Always…

Hooray..you’re the second person that I consider a friend that has given blogging the thumbs-up..Bo Jack Russo has one of the best blog-sites I’ve seen so far..not that I’ve seen many but I understand the purpose and logistics of a blog-site. I have one with Vox but it’s only in the infant stages. Good article StumbleuponWriter.

Blogging is fun. What we do on Triond is blogging, too. There are all kinds of blogs on Triond. My favorites are Writing, Marketing, Money Making and now Blogging. I just starting reading the articles on Blogging today and I feel right at home.
Personally, I don’t like reading blogs that just deal only with what the blogger did that day. I do like reading blogs that provide useful, interesting information like this article. Keep up the good work.
http://www.writinghood.com/online-writing/money-and-the-writing-of-sexy-short-stories-on-triond/ is one of my popular articles on Triond.
