Blogging

The number of blogs in blogosphere is rising very fast every day. It’s extremely hard to get your voice heard in all that noise and it seems that things will only get worse. One of the solutions for dynamic blogosphere growth is group blogging. More authors will have a better chance for success than only one blog author.

Group blogging can have different forms and some of the group blogging types are: blogging in pairs, complementary blogging, tutors and students, one blog many bloggers, many blogs many bloggers and others. Blogging in pairs is the simplest form of group blogging when two authors maintain single blog. Generalization of this group blogging form is one blog many bloggers.

First important thing about blogging in pairs is fact that two authors are equal, meaning they have very similar responsibilities, same rights over blog ownership and they share earnings 50-50. If this is not the case then this is some other type of group blogging.

Blogging in pairs is most suitable for those who know each other in real life, not only online, but it is not impossible to arrange this kind of relation in cyberspace only.

There are two main advantages of blogging in pairs. First one is obvious: two authors can do more posting and marketing than one. Now, blogging can often have unwanted effects. If you spend every day few hours in blogging, you are probably doing this in your spare time, which means your offline social life is suffering. Isolation is unfortunately common blogging side effect. Blogging in pairs can fix this if authors are physically in same room when working on blog.

When to consider blogging in pairs? In every situation where mutual trust can be established and when advantages of blogging in pairs are needed in order to create new quality.
