Another great way to market your blog is to submit your blog to blog directories.  Most blog directories have an extensive list of catagories, so the chances are that you’ll be able to find quite a few that cover the subject of your blog.

Blogged, Blog Catalog and Blog-Directory.ors are just a few of the great free blog directories where you can submit your blog, make friends, exchange links, get your blog noticed and reviewed and network with bloggers in similiar niches.  They have an extensive list of categories, so finding a category that fits your blog shouldn’t be an issue. You will be able to get your blog noticed and reviewed. Not only that, if your blog becomes popular, they will show the amount of hits your blog receives, as well as listing your blog by location, in addition to category.

These are just a few of the blog directories out there and this article is just a means for me to let you know that they are great places to advertise your blog and get noticed.  There are also great places to make new friends.  The one thing I do know, is that you never know what you’ll find when surfing through these directories.  In fact, a few offer the ability to chat, which I found kind of odd, but that’s just me.

In any event, blog directories are an awesome place to market your blog and get yourself noticed, and attract new readers.  And that is something, as a blogger, we can all use.
