An Easy Way to Create Your Own Static Website Using Wordpress Part I

1.       Let us start off with what is the Wordpress?

WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. Most importantly,  WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time.

For those of you who are using firefox as your web browser, Firefox is the same thing. It is an open source application that again internet engineers around the world constantly are working on this software, so everyone else could enjoy their experiences using this software. Wordpress is under the similar idea.

2.       What Wordpress does….

You can use it for website and you can use it for blog which is primarily used by now. And third thing is that you can use it for membership site. The snapshot below is an example of using Wordpress for a membership website.

3.       Go to the Wordpress website at: http://wordpress.org/

                Download the latest version of this software to your local computer. And then install it with a    famous 5 min installation which is very easy for all the website beginners.

4.       Read the documentation and become a WordPress expert yourself, impress your friends.

You could start the application right after your installation. Before you enter the homepage of the application, a small tutorial window will pop out. You could follow the instructions in the video and make your first website.
