Here I’m going to list a few ways you can make money on your blog. ost of these ways are pretty easy and take zero effort. All you mainly have to do, which is your job anyway, is to get people to your website and to raise your page rank. Of course if your pages are optimized correctly then you don’t have to work TOO hard to get visitors, but still this should always be your main objective, especially if you have things on your site and want to make money.

Here I’m going to list a few ways you can make money on your blog. Most of these ways are pretty easy and take zero effort. All you mainly have to do, which is your job anyway, is to get people to your website and to raise your page rank. Of course if your pages are optimized correctly, then you don’t have to work TOO hard to get visitors, but still this should always be your main objective, especially if you have things on your site and want to make money.

CPM Banners – These are banners you can get from various CPM networks. You put the banners on your site, pretty much anywhere you want (check guidelines) and then for every 1000 people that visit your site you will make money. CPM means Cost Per Thousand. So say your using ApplyAds, and they offer to pay you $1.50 for CPM, then if you have 1000 people visit your site, you just made a click buck fifty. I know this doesn’t seem like much, but you can usually have one banner per page, and more than one network on each page. So you could even triple this amount. Say $150 x 3 = $4.50. So every 1000 visitors would equal out to be ABOUT $4.50. That’s a little better!

Featured Blogs – People will pay you on sites like DcClicks or Blogvertise for you to write blogs about their company, website or product. Or you can do this on your own, and just find people in general that want to receive more “views” and charge them a certain amount, write the blog about them and if its to their liking they will pay you. On sites like Blogvertise you DO have to follow terms, and most likely the only way you will get paid $20 or more for a feature blog job, is if you have a huge amount of traffic on your website. Traffic means everything!

Affiliate Programs – You can place your banners, links, hypers, storefronts etc, on your web page that are of the affiliate programs or sites you belong to. The most common thing is to write a regular blog and slip in a few hypers along the way. Example I have a site about food, I also have a few affiliate web pages I made with Amazon. So say I’m talking about one of my favorite Chefs, Jamie Oliver (which is one of the affiliate pages I made of all his cookbooks), then I can simply hyper the word Jamie Oliver and when someone clicks it, they will get sent to my Affiliate Page for Jamie Oliver, with all his cookbooks. Pretty easy!

Contextual Ads – Sites like Google AdSense and Adbrite can make you a good amount of money. People visit your website, the Ads from Google or whatever other site show relevant ads to your website, if someone clicks on the ad you will get paid. Beware, you can also easily get deleted from sites such as AdSense if they think your causing Click Fraud (even if you’re not!). Sites like Google can be unfair like that because they have a multi billion dollars industry!

Sponsor Ads – Its sort of like a featured blog, but you feature a company or a product on your site. No need to write blogs. Just give them a little “advertising” page of their own.

Pay per post – There are sites that will pay you to write about whatever you want, on your very own blog. The best site for this is PayPerPost.com but you have to go through a very strict amount of guidelines to even get your application looked at. Be sure you take a look at those guidelines beforehand, so as to not waste your own important time!

So there you have it, a few of the most popular and easiest ways to make money from using your blog or website. If you have any questions about some of the things I listed above, you can either go directly to the site or do a search on Google for more information. Or if you are looking for something a bit different do a search on Google for “How to make money with my blog.” There is about 50,000 other writers that also have some really smooth ideas for you to try out!
