A collection of blogs about nature.
Our world is a wonderful, beautiful place. Most people enjoy being out in the open air, a part of the natural world that surrounds us. For those who do find pleasure from being out in the open, the following websites can be useful for those days when getting outside is just not an option.
English Wilderness
The English Wilderness is a collection of photographs that are carefully chosen and placed for the enjoyment of the viewer. John updates the site with a new photograph every few days. It’s amazing some of the shots he has managed to get. When visiting his site, you can never quite be sure what to expect. Some days you will see beautiful sweeping landscapes. Other days you might come across a spider having its lunch. There are birds, bugs, and other critters to be found here, too. When you want a good touch of nature that will always brighten your mood, visit John at the English Wilderness.
The Everyday Adventurer
If you’re looking for an adventure, an adventure is definitely what you’ll get. The first thing that you will notice when you enter the world of The Everyday Adventurer is the very loud header that proclaims how the world waits for you. It’s very noticeable. The next thing you might see is the interesting photographs followed by detailed descriptions and discussions that explain what the picture is about. The Everyday Adventurer says the following:
“I am The Everyday Adventurer and I will take you on a journey through nature trails, local places, shops, bridges, parks, hiking, and other adventures…”
There is no doubt that a visit to this site will change your way of seeing the world. Stop by today and say hi. Be sure to tell him that I sent you…
My Quality Day
Photographs and conversation will make your day brighter at My Quality Day. What I like most about this site is that the writer takes the mundane moments of the day and shows how even the simplest things can have an impact on how our day progresses. It’s all about the attitude and the view that you use when you look at the world around you. It is so special to find beauty in the world where most believe that none exists. My Quality Day will help you see that there really is a wonderful array of beauty and wonder to be found in the everyday events of life.
4) My Journey
The stories that one might find here are truly amazing. Rainfield61 takes his readers along when he journeys out into the world. There is great wonder, and sometimes even great laughter, to be found as he journeys through the world. Rainfield 61 states the following:
“I am getting younger and younger with age going older and older. Weekly hiking keeps me ready for further adventurous discoveries; Climbing up Mt. Kinabalu registered my footprints 4095m above sea level. Of course, photography is akin to my breathing.”
When you decide to visit his site, be sure to read about his encounter with a very territorial short tailed macaque. There is no doubt that you will leave with laughter as you imagine the scenario that he lays out before you.
If you’re in the mood for a bit of nature but don’t have the time or ability to get outside, just stop by these websites and enjoy a journey into the great outdoors. You won’t be disappointed.
