A Celebration of Blogging & Writing

Did someone say the blues?  Don’t get me started about Janis Joplin.  What a voice.  What passion.

We bloggers and writers have a voice.  We have passion.  And sometimes when we have the blues we have to put it into words.  We have to blog and write about it.

Blogging and writing help.

Of course on my personal blog I never have the blues.  There I’m the Old Soldier, a small time blogger trying to use my online marketing experiences to help other small time bloggers.  I’m the elder statesman of flash.  I never complain.  Who wants to read a whiner?

My blog is a celebration of life.  I’m trying to attract readers, not chase them away.  Deep in my soul I know bloggers and writers are people of hope.  The very act of writing is an act of hope.  But sometimes life does give you the blues.  Sometimes we have to blog and write about it.  Just like Pearl had to sing about it.

I play bass and love playing the Blues. It seems an obvious contradiction but singing or playing the Blues is very uplifting and blogging can be on occasions.

Inspiring words – sometimes we have to just get it out there the good and the bad, it’s all part of life’s rich tapestry, and you are so right that is the right way to approach it as a celebration of life!
