Just an opinion.

The music industry has and still is evolving and the quality of music produced nowadays is very diverse and unique. This can be backed by the releases and offerings that we are getting from artists such as Kanye West, Lil Wanyne, Drake, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa and the likes, that dominate the music Industry.

My Homies still by Lil Wayne featuring Big Sean has to be one of those tracks that bring out a vibey and hip feel to the room. It has very strong beats and Lil Wayne’s voice is again very recognisable, not to mention the lyrics. The video, which appears to have been shot in HD, is very different, with a suburb setting, with bright colours and people of different kinds..and did I mention that there is an elephant in it too.

Another hot track, has to be Mercy by Kanye, very loud banging and has become a popular play in clubs and radio stations. The video, is in black and white, very innovative but also very laid back like Weezy’s. Artists seem to be moving away from video shoots in clubs and dance halls to more open environments.

Usher and Rick Ross have both featured each other in songs. There is Lemme see, which is a good listen and just shows you how to different artists can produce quality music when they come together.

Right by my side by Nicki Minaj ft. Chris Brown is very intriguing and also a unique collaboration. Chris complements Nicki’s voice or should I say vice versa..However, they both bring out the best of each other in the video, although due to the type of song it was, you do not get to see alot of Chris’ dancing in action.

Talk about Wiz Khalifa being some sort of star with his trademark track, “Work hard play hard” and to even make a song with Maroon 5, means that he is really stretching and trying out a new kind of collaboration

This just got me thinking of a song called lazy love by Neyo. This has to be a track that trully shows how mature Neyo has grown to become. Its music is also a sight that a lot of girls and maybe some guys will have a good time watching as Neyo really pushes the boundary and tit bit longer than he usually would.

Trey Songz song “Heart Attack” is another hit with a catchy beat that Trey featuring Kelly Rowland play around with. The lyrics are starightforward and help you understand why exactly the song got the title it has.

I will be reviewing more tracks.. Stay on the look out and don’t be shy to share your opinions on tracks that you feel we can talk about.
